El doctor es un cirujano oftalmólogo titulado que ha realizado más de 20.000 intervenciones a lo largo de su carrera. Obtuvo su licenciatura en la Universidad de Notre Dame y completó sus estudios de medicina en la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York Downstate. Su formación oftalmológica tuvo lugar en el St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center de Nueva York, donde alcanzó la categoría de Jefe de Residencia en Oftalmología. También alcanzó la categoría de Jefe de Residencia en el St. Clare's Hospital de Nueva York. El cirujano está afiliado a varios hospitales, como el Good Samaritan Medical Center, el South Side Hospital y el North Shore LIJ Health System. Es oftalmólogo desde hace más de treinta años y está especializado en cataratas y procedimientos microquirúrgicos de corrección de la visión del ojo.
