Albuquerque

The doctor is a fellowship trained, board certified ophthalmologist who has performed thousands of procedures and specializes in cataract and laser surgery. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California at Berkeley. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of New Mexico. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Boston University. He completed a fellowship in Ocular Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. The doctor received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors from renowned eye tumor specialist, Devron H. Char, MD. He is one of only two ocular tumor specialists in New Mexico. He is a member of many professional medical organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and served as president of the Hispanic Medical Association of New Mexico. He has received numerous awards for outstanding service to the community.
