Grand Rapids

The doctor is a board certified ophthalmologist who has performed over 1,000 refractive procedures over the course of his career. He attended Carleton College of Northfield, Minnesota, where he graduated cum laude. He went to medical school at the University of North Dakota, followed by internship training at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and served as chief resident during his final year. In an effort to continue his education, the surgeon went on to complete fellowship training in glaucoma at the Cleveland Clinic. He is certified on the VISX excimer laser for laser refractive procedures and has been seeing patients at the practice since 2001.
