The doctor is a board certified ophthalmologist who has performed over 15,000 procedures over the course of his 25 year career. He received his medical degree in 1979 from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed his ophthalmology residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, in 1983.
