The surgeon is a board certified ophthalmologist who has performed thousands of procedures over the course of his career. Surgical staff member of the practice, he specializes in cataract, vision correction surgery, corneal disease, and as glaucoma management. He is experienced in the following cataract and refractive surgeries: LASIK, Wavefront custom treatment, and IntraLase to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, as well as astigmatism. His passion to help others facing eye problems has inspired him to continuously research and examine the newest medications and techniques to benefit his patients. As a result, he has published numerous studies granting him the honor of speaking at national ophthalmic conferences and seminars. Before beginning his career as an ophthalmologist, he pursued an undergraduate degree from Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During this time, he participated in an internship at the Health Alliance Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He continued his education at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency in ophthalmology. His accomplishments continue as he was invited to serve as the chief president by the faculty of the university and worked as an assistant ophthalmology professor for the next two years. Lastly in his education, the surgeon completed a Fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of New York.
